In 2024, Eddie Hatfield was fired from Google for speaking out against building tech used for the genocide and displacement of Palestinians. Like many workers, Eddie was pressured to work longer and harder through the constant threat of layoffs – all to build more bombs for the war machine. Like Eddie, many of us have asked how we can stop the U.S. war machine by protesting on Sunday but then going back to work on Monday to enrich the system killing and displacing workers in the U.S. and in Palestine. The only way to stop the war machine for good is to fight back here to change the system that exploits and displaces us! We demand Google rehire Eddie and stop retaliating against any worker speaking up against displacement and genocide!
